A Beautiful Day at Beaver Creek

Here are a few pictures of our Beaver Creek Paddle. Newport airport, that is nearby, showed 63F for several hours. That is not bad for this time of the year. There was a light breeze from the East and paddling/rowing was easy work. There had been some rain in the preceding week and the current was observable, something hard to see in the summer. In fact, the current kept us from going under the foot bridge at the Ona Wayside. It would been a walking boat pull to get back.

Most of these pictures were at our lunch stop, up the creek past the S. Beaver Creek Rd. bridge. The water was high enough to not leave any spots to get out, so we had lunch in our boats. Credits: The really good pictures were taken by David Libby.
